Our Mission

Save the Orphans is dedicated to improving the lives of orphans, foster families, and at-risk children in Moldova, Europe’s poorest country. We provide food, clothing, school supplies, firewood, and other necessities to orphans, foster families, and destitute families through our network of volunteers in Moldova and through partnerships with organizations and transitional homes in Moldova providing services to orphans and at-risk children. We also provide information and instruction to Moldovan children about the importance of education and the dangers of human trafficking and abuse.

We also provide instruction in computer skills, programming, coding and basic electronics to children in the Chisinau area who are being left behind due to lack of access to information technology equipment and training.

With the unprecedented challenges faced in Moldova due to the influx of war refugees from Ukraine, and Russian attempts to destabilize the Moldovan economy, our goal of empowering orphans and at-risk children has become more critical. By providing food, clothing, and educational opportunities and supplies, Save the Orphans enables orphans and destitute children in Moldova to pursue their education and strive to improve their lives, while our anti-trafficking awareness programs help to keep these children safe.
